24 years of Blessings

July 27 has always been my favorite summer day, can you guess why?

It’s my birth date. I thank God for 24 years of life. Even though there have been hardships I am blessed to be here. Most importantly God has blessed with beautiful people in my life I get to call family, that is truly what matters most to me.

Life isn’t perfect, it will never be but sometimes we have to step back and realize what we have instead of focusing on what we don’t.

On that note: Thank you God for my health, family, my home, the food on the table each day and all the things you have given that I have failed to acknowledge.

What are you lovelies thankful for?

I am head over heels in-love with my birthday outfit.

The skirt can be used as a skirt or a strapless dress, it’s a multi-functional garment. Suede has been very popular this summer it’s no wonder why, it looks and fits beautifully. I also love that this skirt is ruched which hugs curves nicely and give a slimming effect. I found this gem at Necessary Clothing.

The top I love because I have an off-the-shoulder obsession. Plain and white sometimes less is more. The top is from H&M.

Every outfit needs a statement piece. I love the grandness and boldness of this necklace. The earrings are delicate and give a touch of goddess aroma. Unfortunately It barely shows in the pictures (I copied two images of the model wearing it). All accessories are from Forever21.

The shoes you have seen in an earlier post when I went thrift shopping at Buffalo Exchange. I love that it adds a pop of color and matches my pink lips.

*I straighten my hair because I wanted to see how long my hair actually is. It’s pretty long, the pictures don’t do much justice but I am very pleased with the way my hair is progressing. The only thing that irritates me a bit about curly hair is the shrinkage lol. Every time I straighten my hair I hold my breath until the next wash hoping each curl is intact. I passed this times, the curls are safe. I think it’s okay to straighten once in a while as long as you use precautions and as little heat as possible.
