On The Rise

Hello lovelies,
Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is doing well. Wishing you all a prosperous year filled with joy.

I have faith that this year will be a good one. I am starting the year with a new positive outlook.

As you know in 2013 my life took a turn for the worst, since then I had not been able to put my mind or life in perspective. On Christmas Day (December 25, 2014) I traveled to the Dominican Republic with my boyfriend’s family. He is now resting peacefully in the beautiful island as he wished, which brings me serenity. It is still very hard, a wound that will never heal but during this trip I was able to regain focus. I cleared my mind and feel ready to retrieve control of my life.

My boyfriend’s motto was “No Struggle No Progress,” (If There Is No Struggle, There Is No Progress-Frederick Douglass). I am a living example of it. I am determined to rise above the hardship to unveil my life purpose; what I was put on earth to accomplish. I will do it for myself, for my boyfriend who always believed me, my family who have always been supportive of me and to prove to those enduring hardship that it can be done. It will not be easy but it is possible, after all everything worthy takes time and effort to obtain. All we need is a little faith and perseverance.
